Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that involves using a device with fine needles to create tiny punctures in the skin. These punctures become micro channels through which product can penetrate deeper and faster. It is intended to stimulate collagen production and improve the appearance of the skin. It is often used to treat acne scars, fine lines, and uneven skin tone.
Microneedling is approved for all skin types on the Fitzpatrick Scale.
Each session takes approximately 40 minutes.
We recommend to get this treatment every 1-3 months.
- Pregnancy or nursing
- Accutane within the last 6 months
- Active bacterial, fungal, or viral infections of the treatment area
- Open wounds in the treatment area
- Tanned or sunburnt skin (2-4 weeks).
- Tattoos (including microblading)
- Photosensitizing medication and topical skincare
